London born, Brooklyn based photographer Sacha Maric is no stranger to the photography world. With two books of his personal work printed and numerous images in fashion and style publications, it is easy to spot his work. From Nylon to Interview his almost documentary style photographs effortlessly blend a story between clothing and model.
This latest set of images are no exception. Maric shoots model Sophie Katherine for WSJ Magazine’s September issue. WSJ Senior Fashion Editor, Laura Stoloff puts words to this story, “Never met a white shirt I didn’t like”. It is hard not to fall in love with the simplicity of the white shirt given how Maric captures Katherine against the simple beige background in the most lighthearted of poses. We find ourselves equally in love with shirt as we are with model.
